The Sales S7 come with Two Turbochargers

Talk Saleen always synonymous with power. As in S281 Mustangs, and S7, which is the first in America, or this could be the only one who carried the mid-engine exotic supercar. First marketed in 2002, the S7 is the only legal car (street-legal) in the United States with more than 500 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. The media and S7 owners rave about the car since the first time. And it has been recognized by many automotive magazines as the fastest production car in the world. But over the last three years the car market has witnessed an explosion of performance with models from renowned manufacturers including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Chevrolet touting power numbers above the once magic 500 level.


Specially designed by engineers Saleen, S7 engine and drivetrain include modern racing technology and the latest. The new all-aluminum V8 engine casting was engineered and designed by by Saleen to replace the seven liters. Redline is 6500 rpm.


Space age materials and techniques used in whole, including stainless steel valves, titanium retainers, beryllium exhaust valve seats, an aluminum throttle body, Saleen designed aluminum CNC-machined cylinder heads and stainless steel exhaust system.




Suspension and Saleen S7 chassis combines experience in racing, racing car construction and high performance road car manufacturing. Saleen S7 architecture begins with a space frame chassis that reinforce honeycomb composite was transplanted.


The body is structural, aerospace-quality, autoclave carbon fiber. Suspension is via fully independent unequal length double wishbones with coilover springs, lightweight aluminum dampers (shock absorbers) and stabilizer (anti-roll) bars front and rear. The uprights at each corner are CNC machine billet aluminum, flow-through design that uses air to help cool the bearings.



For the output in 2006 S7 Twin Turbo, the redesigned front and rear diffusers, along with a new rear spoiler, 40 percent resulted in a decrease aero drag and a 60 percent increase in power down. The people who know anything about aero forces recognize the importance of that last statement. Usually, you have to trade lower force to reduce aero drag.

Mid-engine Saleen S7 has front and rear trunks and comes with Mulholland Brothers custom-made, 3-piece, fitted luggage. Saleen S7 comes with true supercar style, the doors open and away from the body.
